The Operations Behind Recovery: Meet Paulo Jacuzzi

"What drives me back to Wolfe Street isn’t just our history, but the impact we are currently having on people."
Meet Wolfe Street's Director of Operations, Paulo Jacuzzi

When an emergency happens, our mission doesn’t pause.

Whether it’s an air conditioning unit that suddenly stops working, a broken door or an unexpected maintenance issue, Wolfe Street continues serving more than 85,000 individuals each year.

Behind every repair, facility improvement, and unexpected emergency is Director of Operations, Paulo Jacuzzi. While much of his work happens behind the scenes, every repair, project and improvement plays an important role in ensuring our staff can focus on what matters the most: serving individuals and families on their recovery journey.

Paulo’s role extends far beyond responding to emergency needs. He helps lead the WolfePack’s day-to-day operations by managing special projects and removing obstacles to ensure staff can effectively help every person who walks through our doors.

Much of his work happens quietly, before anyone notices it.

From overseeing strategic logistics and contributing to business planning, Paulo’s leadership plays a vital role in the structure needed for Wolfe Street to continue serving the community. His behind-the-scenes efforts allow the team to stay focused on the core of Wolfe Street’s mission – helping people find hope in recovery.

While his name might not be attached to every moment, his impact is felt every day.

Paulo Jacuzzi, Director of Operations at Wolfe Street Foundation, outside the organization's Recovery Community Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
For Paulo, this work is personal.

Paulo completed a recovery treatment program in Texas before returning to Arkansas.

When Paulo and his wife, Jennifer, moved back to Little Rock in 2006, he attended a speaking engagement featuring Joe McQuany.

Although he was already familiar with Wolfe Street, hearing Mr. McQuany reinforced Paulo’s belief in our mission.

The experience continues to shape the way he approaches his role today. Paulo appreciates the rich history behind Wolfe Street’s mission and sees that as the drive behind what he does for the community daily.

“What drives me back to Wolfe Street isn’t just our history, but the impact we are currently having on people,” Paulo says.

Having walked the path of recovery himself, Paulo understands what the Wolfe Street Foundation represents to the people who walk through its doors each day.

He knows that for many, it is more than a building. It’s a place where hope is restored, healing begins, and lives are transformed. That perspective fuels his commitment to creating an environment where everyone who enters feels empowered to take the next step in their recovery journey.

“Recovery takes community. Thank you for being part of ours.”
