Many times when a person begins their personal journey in recovery, they may be in need of simple items. Many start their journey in a detox facility or in a 30, 60, or 90-day treatment center and they may find that they do not have some of the basic necessities to feel comfortable during their stay.
The Wolfe Street Foundation, in partnership with Heart of Arkansas United Way and THV 11, has created a list on Amazon.com to provide soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and items such as meditation books, puzzles and stationary. With these items, we hope that persons new to recovery understand there are people like them that want to provide them with the support they need.
